The way I see it is that buying into REITs such as this one you're not after capital growth but rather the dividend income that it is able to provide. I haven't been able to do a full analysis of CIP yet hence why I don't have a position but based on what i've seen so far, you have a business that holds investments with a decent WALE and cap rates on the lower end of the market (indicating a less risky investment). This will help with them providing consistent dividends to shareholders.
Definitely not an exciting listing in comparison to the huge tech companies but I believe these sort of listings can play a great role in building passive income in the long term
