Hi Jermaynew - you are not alone here.
I had the same thought and called my broker today to buy AMP Aug $6.50 Calls.
He suggested that perhaps there was such a high expectation on the report due 18 Aug that the sp may dissapoint afterwards, and not cover the cost of the Calls.
As I have a fair holding of AMP shares I took his advice.
However he is not always right - but then neither am I.
However I will be very pleased if AMP actuall eventually makes it to $8 + as Smerf is hoping.
