Very difficult to compare the ‘deals.’ Sure, licensing provides better margins (it’s not pure profits), but you have no control. It proved a dead end road looking back at it and it was negotiated by a very inexperienced (in the space) and incompetent Chairman who is no longer with the company. The other deal (just announced) is part of a new direction to launch their own brands as well as manufacturing products for other companies/brands. The opportunities are endless. We are in control of things this time around.
It is worth reminding ourselves Peros took Foreo from start up to turning over $180m in annual revenue in six years. That was without any decent tech and also he was pretty new to it all - he would admit himself he brings a lot of learnings to Wellfully.
