There is no single rule for all stocks. Some stocks (and i believe Altium is one) deserve holding for a long time. Patience! Good businesses do recover!

Example: I bought BWX at about $4.50, it went up to like $7 if i recall correctly, then the company made some big mistakes and it fell like a stone. Covid made it even worse and it fell to about $1.80!! I kept averaging down until i got to about $3.80 because i think its a pretty good business and didn't deserve those drops. I recently sold all my holdings above $5.

ALU and APX are companies i believe are worth hold through these tough times. Well not so tough anymore for ALU
