There are quite a few people that do enjoy the benefits of a permanent decent job where they can take the time they need to recover. It highlights how privileged they are when compared to pensioners, casuals etc.
Anyone that has experienced these types of injuries understands that it takes a long time to get right. If it isn't managed well, people end up with a permanent problem. All because they didn't take the time and follow the specialists instructions.
Talk to any old sportsperson that was rushed back from injury.
Those people also know that injuries like ribs, shoulders ankles etc will appear to be ok in a few months when the reality is it can take a year for them to be spot on. E.g. AFL footballers are an example. Note how many of them have their shoulders taped week in, week out.
They have had plenty of material to work with. Hotel quarantine, power prices, CFA volunteers, power prices and so on. There has been plenty of fodder for the opposition to utilise . Actual issues that affect Victorians every day.
Instead, they bang on about some ridiculous conspiracy theory involving high profile community members. They have involved the Fox family in Victoria. A very big employer and contributor to the state. Not the smartest strategy, I would've thought.
What kind of respect are they going to get from the local business community when they peddle bs like that ?
No wonder we have a government that can get away with what they do. The opposition is non existent.
It is no coincidence that certain posters have been pushing this conspiracy theory. It is obviously designed to take the focus off the insipid opposition.
