If i bought 1000 woolworths shares at $33.00 and then the demerger occurs at $43.00, how does that work for taxes?
Post Merger:
Lets say I get 1000x Woolworths shares and 1000x Endeavour shares, I assume both those shares will equal up to $43.00 before trading beings.
But if I sell my shares how are profit and loss calculated to CGT so i can report my gain/loss?
