I lean on the side of optimism for this build for reasons others have already stated:
-large project
-expensive outlay
-reputed builder
-one of the original holders of FBR, if memory serves me right.

When you mention confidence in the product, it's the hallmark of every great salesperson and with the actions of management I often fear they are talented salespersons that espouse exciting promises but rarely does the pathway of the product travel close to how they stated.

Taking into consideration the view I have on senior management's personality I often conspiracy-theorise that the reason big names have been knocked back is due to Allcock's influence and buddy-buddy with senior management.
