RE: Ammtec
Further response from Dave Sammut
The questions above boil down to a few basic points: Is Intec involved in Ammtec’s announced plans; If not, why not; and Do Ammtec’s plans cut across Intec’s patented technology in any way?
Intec is fully informed about Ammtec’s plans, and we are wholly supportive of them. We wish Ammtec every success in its endeavours. The short answer to all three questions is that Intec is not involved in Ammtec’s plans, because they are unrelated to the Intec technology. Hydrometallurgy is a very large field, with many centres of expertise, and as we have previously discussed on this Forum there are many ways to ‘skin a cat’.
Just as there is not a single pyrometallurgical technology for minerals processing, there will not be a single hydrometallurgical technology that is universally applicable across all metals and mineral types. Ammtec’s technology option is simply another in the spectrum of developing options, and we wish them every success, because every hydrometallurgical technology success smooths the way for acceptance of all hydrometallurgy as a viable alternative to smelting.
If investors would like to know more about Ammtec’s plans and technology, we would suggest that you contact Ammtec directly.
