    Excuse me if it has been answered somewhere below, but most African investments are held via Dutch SPV's, predominantly because of Netherlands extensive tax treaty network, that vastly limits withholding taxes on intrest, royalties and dividends that are upstreamed.

    Actually most Russian companies are a Dutch holdco too. As well as is Ikea
