Bribery in Australia is legal and accepted. A typical is "political donation". Do you think that these business owners / operators donate money for nothing?
Not long ago I heard on ABC radio that businesspeople have to pay $3,000 for a meeting with a MP. Why would a businessperson spend the money? The answer is very clear.
In Australia there is a special "profession" called political lobbists. Basically these people are agencies between politicians and businesspeople.
