Has this article made anyone else both happy and scared at the same time?
On the one hand, it's great for Anteo that Sona failed at the clinical trial stage given that they were ahead in the queue. On the other hand, I'm a bit concerned that Anteo can succeed where some big names have failed. We've also seen articles stating that the saliva test being used in the UK is not very sensitive.
I'm sure the Sona CEO went into the trial as confident as Derek has given their own lab testing so our results are far from guaranteed. I realise this is a rather negative post from someone who has been so bullish but I fully admit that I'm nervous as hell.
The thing it does confirm however is that if we do have an effective saliva test, the world is our oyster!! Sales will no doubt flow if the trial results are even close to our own.
