Why would you announce to the market we are almost there or nearing concluding negotiations with any party?
You'd want to craft the best commercial deal you can get that is available. If you give away the license or product for nothing, you are setting dangerous precedent for any future deal/s.
The first deal is the hardest, the most critical and if that takes longer then so be it. I think we all know the first person to take up the technology will get this at a discount, but how much we will never know.
I'm impatient and as skeptical as the rest of the people here but some of the comments are made devoid of common sense and commercial reality.
