This is a long-term log version of the chart (monthly) with some light modifications. The picture is more encouraging... or not, depending on your preference. If the SP rises above the midpoint of the LT Standard Deviation Channels decisively, remains above it and follow the direction of the blue arrow, the continuing bull market case is on. On the other hand, the SP may fall downward toward the lower band of the declining Standard Deviation Channels (slanted red arrow), bounce back or go through it (worse case scenario). I remain bearish, for now. Thank you for your comment, Tim, I appreciate it.
