Some good points raised and I agree, shares given to staff does not place enough accountability to perform better, the incentive does not match the performance requirements for management to get this company off the ground and running. There needs to be a fear of loss and as you said, anything free has little value. In some ways it actually creates laxed workforce performance standards as it is rewarding people for an objective that hasn't even been met. AVL needs to understand that it's shareholders have high expectations and that we don't share the same sentiment that staff should be rewarded at our expense (dilution). As we have seen today, the market has responded negatively with to this announcement with a 9% decrease in SP.
