NWS is a combination of different fields (Perseus, Goodwyn, Angel, Echo, Yodel & Rankin) hosted within a reservoir (think its the Legendre Sandstone) over a vast area.

Those 2 platforms (NRA & GWA) have had heaps of wells directionally drilled from them, some upto nearly 8 kms long (longreach wells) & completed (just visualise a snake-light with kinks & bends), thats what made it challenging & lucrative, since its discovery in the 70's, the shear size.

Kontiki & Pos are 2 separate structures at a fair distance, so will b developed individually, unless the JV decide to hire 2 gas-floating facilities instead of 1 !!

There is healthy competition betn VIC & WA. VIC has a larger demographic base, so the gas from Bass Straits predictably, targets the large residential mkt compared to WA, which caters to large-scale industries via a network of pipelines.
