So you are accusing EndPoints News of misreporting or misquoting the statement from Novartis?
If the Covid ARDS trial failure did trigger a 90 day extension to due diligence for the deal, then clearly one of the conditions to the deal was a successful trial result. That wouldn't seem to be unusual, other milestones are part of the agreement.
