A sustained rise in the price of a share, coupled with announcements, will bring out the FOMOS. If they do not have the cash, are optimistic, and prepared to borrow, then they will panic as the price starts to fall. Triggered stop losses will worsen the situation.
Could this be what has happened with CHN?
i.e a price over-run on expectations, followed by a sudden correction. (Until more FOMOS come into the game)
