This week was the first time the market reacted positively to negative news from the US gov concerning inflation/interest rates.
So it can probably be assumed that the fear of inflation reached a precipice and was nowhere near as worrisome as originally thought, and now cooler heads have prevailed.
Basically it seems there's been a shift to the vast majority accepting that inflation is transitory, and so the stocks that got hurt the most during the inflation worries should theoretically benefit the most when those worries subside.
