Not a "woke" brigade here in the NT. It's politics with a government on a knife-edge. The election is in the hands of Darwin and Palmerston voters. They love their fishing, hate further destruction of Darwin Harbour by industry. They see the Top End as a tourist destination and they highly value local attractions. Hate the idea that their harbour is a "port' so should be industrialised as suggested here. Middle Arm was never and will never be for the site for TIVAN. How did TNG get so disconnected from the sentiment of Territorians that the company didn't know this??? And yes NT Government agencies and the NT EPA are highly incompetent. Move on TNG.
