Which part of the market do you mean. The largest part of the market institutions have been accumulating for months so they like it. They play the long game slowly weakening the retail traders making them think it's a dud . Then scoop up their shares in the daily churn.
Not all retail but many don't focus on dividends and contract security etc they want a quick buck.
I get what you are saying and agree just think it's more a case of don't get it.
