An exit strategy makes sense if and when an apex or plateau is reached or when market share erodes or management makes a major misstep. Or when a better opportunity beckons. But not just for the dake of having an exit strategy.
When was the best time to exit Apple ot Amazon or Berkshire Hathaway? At no time I would have thought.
I'm waiting for the dividemds.
