possibly, I would have thought that CAT would have tried something pre IPO are a much better Val. They may on the other hand like to see if grow and build out it's market and then acquire it for bigger Val hence paying more but less risk and challenges taking over a young company, both arguments are a chance.....good thing is that the CEO is the key piece here, this is his baby and I hope the board and investors give Mike the runway he needs.
