Or is the key learning how to better time your entries/ manage downside risk.... so instead of going down 75% in the first place, you'd now be up XXX%?

That's what I'd say to all the "doesn't matter it's down 65%, I'm here for 5 years" people. It does matter, because if you believed in ESH so much at 2.7c and did some reasonable risk mitigation, you could have 4X as many shares now at breakeven/ profit, instead of being underwater.

Certainly not a criticism directed at you, but something I think people should have more consideration for, even on their favourite stock.
