This is the normal course of events leading up to June 30 and dumping of shares world wide for tax purposes.

I could have sold last month but the taxes of hell I'd be paying half of it back to the government. Bugger that.
I take my dividends thanks to AF.

The longer we keep our shares going forward over the next 10 years by which time the share price I suggest will be over $100 a share and then sell with a massive profit then less tax paid out. I'd keep them even in 10 years time.

I've been able to retire early due to the dividends alone. I never put money into super. That may sound crazy but by going shares I've been able to retire about 10 years earlier and getting much more back than any super would have given me.

Shares will jump back up in July and the reporting season on the massive profits and then the dividend and back up it will go as will BHP and RIO.
