Lol you really like to spin the fear card. WE ARE NOT BRAZIL OR INDIA OR any other hotspot location you may like to pick - here in Australia the covid risk is low currently so that gives people who are not paralised by fear or in an at risk category choice. Many of us choose to wait to see the long term safety of the vaccines which you are right will probably be safe but we do not need to take the risk here currently given our low covid risk. Yes technology is great and we can do things better and develop things faster BUT experts still get things wrong as in allot of cases there are things we just don't know we don't know yet until the hindsight of time.
The key thing is to vaccinate the vulnerable who want it and the ones that fear covid and that lowers the covid risk even further in the community, and also allows our medical system to cope with the covid cases that continue to occur that require a level of hospitalisation.
