No offence intended mate, but your statement adds even more to the confusion:
"changed the section left off many holes appears as if much of the previous mineralisation is now not supported by drill holes".
If I'm not mistaken, what you were trying to say was that the announcement did not mention any of the historic drill holes and assays, therefore making it look like the mineralisation that was included into the JORC was not supported by drill results. I mean, when you say it like what you did in your post, it sounds like the announcement invalidated the old results, which it certainly did NOT do... it merely did not mention the historic results, instead focusing on the current drill results.

Anyway, I have been thinking about what's been unfolding.
We always had 2 drill holes planned. Then we had the CR which everyone knew was "oversubscribed" because after the CR closed, there was some substantial additional volume at above the CR price immediately after it. After that, this announcement dropped and let's be frank, it was far from being a "hype" announcement! Someone from here mentioned it looked like they were "distracted" when making it. Surely they would know this announcement would instantly crush the dreams and hopes of anyone who wanted to "sell into the news". Ok, so the SP drops precipitously as a result.
Then it gets weirder. After "sweating" the holders for a couple of weeks post-announcement, we get high volume bids that "camp out" at one or 2 lines below the offers. There was literally no buying into the offers, ensuring no appreciation of the SP.

My point is, the events that have occurred from the CR through to now feels to me like it has been orchestrated to enable the accumulation that we've observed at around the CR price level. I know, saying "orchestrated" sounds like I'm insinuating wrong-doing on the company, but all they did was not hype the announcement, which is not wrong at all.
The question is, what is the goal of the accumulation? I mean, we talk about leaks from drilling and assays all the time, but surely any type of progress can be leaked and profited out of.
