The company sees themselves as more than just hps little brother.
They want to be an international hearing health brand. This expansion may assist in this mission but it will also cost a fair bit more to attempt.
Essentially greater monetary risk short term for potential greater long term rewards
if it works or not as a strategy remains to be seen.
Personally I feel the next catalyst will be reviews of the hp buds. This quarterly will show some sales but not heaps as why would hp be buying heaps if they haven’t even started selling the buds themselves yet. So I don’t think it will be catalyst.
If the hp buds get good reviews, then clearly hp will be able to sell a million of them a year without hassle… seeing as they sell eighty odd million laptops a year
