The stock market is efficient and all the information surrounding a company or a stock is reflected in its price, so you can assume that the chart action has indeed factored in all the unquantifiable variables you have outlined.
What is surprisingly lacking, in my simple opinion, from this narrative is that Covid has been around for almost 18 months and yet during that period the share price of CSX has capitulated and the latest operating forecasts offered by the business also point to reduced profitability.
I am neither flaming nor baiting simply proffering the opposing perspective.
