A lot of sour grapes with Chris getting the flick, and in a way I feel for him. However, he failed on the presentation part, not just taste, as they were told to include an array of colours. He gave you any colour you liked as long as it was brown - not great for cook books. Also, his food just did not taste great. Food that need slow cooking cannot be tricked with a pressure cooker in an hour - the palate will pick up on that! Here we have arm chair experts ranting on - did you taste his food? No! So how can you say it was unfair? Did you see the look on their faces when they tasted her food? No need for words - the face muscles told the truth. They were inspired and their eyes were glistening with delight!

If you went to a restaurant and ordered a top meal would you expect the waiter to bring out a half finished meal to you because the clock stopped for the chef? Of course not - the time required will be adjusted accordingly to give you the best result. Not the best food for the given time. The judges knew Julie's dish was fundamentally superior and knew with the finishing touches it would have been perfect.

What I think is Julie's forte is that she comes across as a real mum type figure, and it showed how she took these young girls under her wings. Most find comfort in that kind of gift in a person. I think most would love to come home to Julie's home cooked meals every now and then.

Justine? I would go there too, but not just for the food.
