ct it is sicker than that. This is collapse of the financial system by design. Greenspan and Bernanke knew what low interest rate ultimately would have lead to. BUBBLES in almost any asset class you can think of. Now bubbles are being formed because the money left piles into perceived safe-havens, eg China property and SSE. Watch them head for the doors when that one pops. The US Federal Reserve is a PRIVATE institution ... they don't bat for you and me.
I agree 100% on your analysis of Aussie banks ... the bubble in the first home owners market will punish earnings when it pops.
