re: Ann: Peters Dam Joint Venture with Rubico...
AT no stage do i try to down ramp a stock deliberately . Just wondering how many have done diligent research on MCO before they start attacking. Lets face reality yes there have been narrow vein high grade goldies struggle to get up but the track record for WA open cut over the last two years is not that great either. Mecator , View , SBM open cuts, Wedgetail, westonia mines, gleneagle monarch. spring to mind immediately. as to not having any idea of goldies i have worked in both underground and open cut mines for a large part of my working carreer. What it boils down to is who i believe ( i may be wrong ) will make more money in the long run , the highgrade narrow vein with a million or more ounces at 200 -400 an ounce or the higher cost opencut at 500- 700. I totaly agree that igr is probably the standout open cut in Australia , just trying to point out there may be better value elsewhere. Your right also that the market will decide . But with everything the undervalued ones will play catchup if they get it right. OK i will now leave you in peace . Buy the way do your selves a favor and research MCO diligently and feel free to leave some feedback on what you think of its prospects on the MCO thread.
