Ya thanks Moneymaker - I am really going to enjoy these moments over the next couple of weeks.

And certainly there is no ' Purer ' or ' Truer ' thing said ......except perhaps Sayonas own ' Novonix Hydroxide pending results...... smile.png

And there are so many parallels to the structure of a well functioning Business and an a Championship Ice Hockey Team because BOTH have their deep list of talent and ' specialty ' teams in the ' Power Play ' ( which is what Sayona is doing in regards the NAL acquisition ) ......or the ' Penalty Kill ' ( which they are also doing until the 28th ..... wink.png ) . And any successful business will ALWAYS start with a highly talented ' Core ' nucleus of people with which they then complete the team with various role playing and equally talented 3 or 4th liners.

And over the years the Montreal Canadiens have bee one of the very best in keeping a team strong and / or re-building to remain relevant. And this takes strong Management with a keen eye for Ice Hockey Talent. And lets face it , Quebec has got just about as much Ice Hockey Talent as it does Lithium or any other mining mineral for that matter.

Proof of that can be found in just a few names you left out like :- the Blond Devil Guy Lafleur , Guy Lapointe , Serge Savard , Yvan Cournoyer , Jacques Lemaire , Mario Tremblay , and Bob Gainey ( aka Brett Lynch ......biggrin.png )

Notice that ALL the above additional names are of French Canadien and Quebec origins. However it might also be worth mentioning both the Hall of Famer's and Brothers Frank and Peter Mahovolich who were born in another Mining Town and not that far away from Quebec in Timmins Ontario to their Croatian migrant parents.

But you mention of Course the Great Ken Dryden ....who I was thinking of using because he wore the retired jumper No. 29 .....however Lynch is more of a defensive attacking forward than a Goaltender defending the cage.

However its great that you bring up BOTH Ken Dryden and Jacques Plante who sit in 7th and 10th spot respectfully in the Top 50 goaltenders ever and people often forget that the best strategy for Business and Sport is one that knows when and is confident when to transition your defense to a more attacking offense.

And this of course starts with the Man who sits between the ' Pipes ' in keeping the puck out of the net. So on that note , it is also worth a HUGE mention that it is no fluke that Quebec's favorite Son in terms of goaltenders would be Montreal Candiens former Goaltender Patrick Roy who sits atop the top 50 list by a country mile with a total of 151 wins and 38 more than the No 2 goaltender who is also French Canadien in Martin Brodeur.

So the ' Core ' of the team is so very important whether it is in Business or Sport because they BOTH have the goal of achieving ' successive ' wins.

So with respects to the other fellow ' MrAwesome ' and his Edmonton Oilers who are another Great example of setting up the ' Core ' including obviously your Goaltender with their No. 3 in the Top 50 Grant Fuhr . Note also Billy Smith from the Islander halcyon days sits in No. 5 spot so no surprise there.

So it's amazing that they ( The Oilers ) went down in 4 straight to the Jets this year even with the Connor McDavid , Leon Draisaitl combo who together had a total seasons high scoring points of 189 and far more than anyone else. I guess it doesn't matter though as Montreal has dealt with ALL the challengers top point getters including Toronto's Auston Matthews , Winnipeg's Mark Scheifele and Vegas's Mark Stone and former Canadiens Captain Max Pacioretty.

So Tampa's got 3 regular season points scorers in the Top 50 so it will be interesting whether we can shut down their Offense and get behind their defense with the same speed displayed by our youngsters so far in the campaign.

But 100% agree that obviously Edmonton is a great franchise which was founded in the same year as the NY Islanders in 1972 ...but didn't come across from the WHA until 1979 unlike the Islanders who didn't go to the WHA and remained as an NHL 70's expansion club at that time. But the picks that they got back then was amazing as well.

And so some awesome names on their ( Edmonton's ) 2 back to back Cups in the 80's including the ' Great One ' Wayne Gretzky ' ....and others as well like Mark Messier , Paul Coffey , Jari Kurri , Glenn Anderson and Grant Fuhr ......and so many others. Unbelievable depth of talent.

One of the few true ' Dynasty ' Clubs , and up their with the NY Islanders 4 straight Cups in the 80's with the likes of Mike Bossy ( French Canadian ) , Brian Trottier ( part Cree Matis - Indiginous ) , Denis Potvin ( Ottawa ) , Clarke Gillies , the Sutter Brothers , and Billy Smith .

However many would forget that the Montreal Canadians were the only other Club to Win a Stanley Cup between the NY Islanders 4 straight Cups and Edmonton's 4 , 2 x 2 Cups and covering all the years from 1979-80 to 1988-89 with the exception of Montreal's win in the 1985-86 season. Then Calgary wins a rematch with Montreal in the 1989 -90 season and then Montreal returns with a Win in the 1992-93 season after Pittsburg Penguins go back to back with BIG Mario Lemieux in 1990-91 & 1991-92

So effectively the Canadiens..... even in a decade dominated by virtually 2 Clubs including yours , they still manage to make 4 appearances in the Finals in 12 years with 3 Cup Wins still under their belt. Not too shabby .

And if you go back to just before the Islanders 4 straight Cups, the Canadiens bagged 4 of em themselves 1976 through 1979 ....so that's virtually 8 appearances and 7 Cups in just 16 years.

But I guess the main point here in conclusion to your final paragraph is that Sport at this level when such an Iconic Club and fan base cannot be dismissed as a potentially HUGE sideshow distraction to normal daily expected activities of your mainstream Quebecer and so lets hope also that the Canadiens will be able to secure a Game 1. win on the road in Tampa on Monday ( Tuesday our time ) , as I couldn't think of a better distraction to fly under the radar with a NAL positive court approval....... sneaky.png

And on that note , I would just like to say one last thing to the people of Quebec in that the Aussies are not all that different to the people of the Quebecois in that we would refer Brett Lynch as ' Lyncho ' and they would probably see him as ' Lynchéé ' or ' Lynchieux '...........biggrin.png
