@madamswer I acknowledge your excellent analysis and concur with your evaluation. @hewjet, you are too bearish.
The contribution by EDV to Woolworth’s Group earnings, pre-demerger, can be valued conservatively at 20%. Using this broadbrush guideline, EDV share price should be about 25% of WOW share price. WOW share price is currently 36.70 which makes EDV significantly undervalued at 6.00.
“Selling-shareholders” (i.e. WOW small shareholders who have opted for cash settlement, and other eligible shareholders who choose to sell their EDV allocations) will tend to weigh-down the EDV share price in the short term. This presents a good buying opportunity over the next month or so. I am in the bullish camp with @madamswer . I think EDV SP of $8 is a reasonable 12-month target-price.
