What's the problem?
You pay a surcharge for using credit cards when you go shopping, why not when paying bills?
Or do you prefer other people to subsidise your preferred method of payment?
I never pay by credit card, so I am quite happy the RBA deregulated the payment industry to better reflect the cost of each payment mechanism.
Why should cash users or internet bankers have to pay for credit card users by virtue of the company iternalising the costs of one payment mechanism and spreading it over all customers.
