A little underwhelming even for you.
Are you serious on the interpretation of Barnaby saying Keith Pitt is over his portfolio "like a bad suit" is a negative remark? I feel like that statement is not really open for interpretations.... yet you have found a different one!
Again I don't think there is anything definitive there. Scomo wanted to keep Pitt - possibly because he's a mouth piece for LNP, or maybe he's done a genuinely good job. Or it could be one of a hundred more backdoor deals. I really see no suggestion that PEP-11 should be impacted here at all.
You are also relying on hearsay (have the AFR ever been wrong?) so purporting to give the 'real answer' is a little ironic. I don't mind people throwing up theories - I think yours is plausible sure, but there is really no need for the hubris when, in fact, you know SFA.
