OZL concentrate is very good quality with copper at 56%. This compares to PAN concentrate at about 25% Cu. All comes down to mineralogy. OZL ore is high in bornite (63% Cu) and chalcocite (80% Cu) while I would guess Phu Kham is mostly chalcopyrite (34% Cu).
So PNA would pay more for treatment and transport charges and would not get paid as much for the contained copper given the grade.
OZL also reported 30c/lb credits for precious metals.
