If you look at the structure of the Capital component and Franked Dividend and do the sums you might find that the structure will be attractive to some individuals "from a taxation perspective".
Tax benefits, always tax benefits. Great result but I seem to recall buying my MTS when they went below their Capital Raising price only a year or so ago. And now we're buying back at a higher price?
Great for those who are clipping the ticket on all this "Capital Management". Frankly I would have been happier with a Special Dividend.
