IMO, it more and more likely that the deal will be made with big pharma. They have more than 1 billion to invest, they need to find new patented drugs and they have the skills to get PBT2 to the market. So the fund will be left with their 1 billion to support those developments left outside what PBT2 will be able to kill if there are any bacteria left. Nobody knows what are these leftovers so it may take a while before they can support any efforts. Perhaps the fund will give a few hundred million to ATH to be part of the PBT2 success.
