telstra customers charged for paying bills, page-33

Well you are a lucky person Jeeper. My first overcharge was in 1990 when I 'moved ashore',(back injury) and got my first landline. First account was $990.00, on maybe two local calls a day - old exchange - no itemised accounts. Te*s*r* maintained I was making 2000 calls a week!!! - and gave me time to pay. Nice of them. Health got better. Business good - mobile phones /internet etc. Overcharge bills like you would not believe - average every third bill 40% too high for ten (10!) years. Seven years into this mess sat in Te**tr* Country Wide office with M.... who spoke using speaker phone to D.... in Dubbo, trying to sort out mess. Finally took business on the road - got rid of land line and bigpond - had to get two 'Next G's with cap plan - sadly have to use this as monoploy exists. Won't bother with details of 12 pages I wrote to Sen Conroy .....
