The reason there aren't more responses now from people to the left of Attila the Hun is simple. They're working.
There's a whole generation of angry geriatric posters abusing them all day every day for being lazy or something or other. But the aged pension, other welfare and Medicare costs of those angry geriatrics doesn't come from a magic money tree. The good old Aussie taxpayer picks up the tab. So those normal Australians (i.e., "lefties" on HotCopper) - and women, Aborigines, Muslims and all the other people that cop daily abuse here - have to work to support their abusers by paying tax.
