In my experience good things take time. And from I have read ( Simmons et al ), is is good pracice to treat an oil field conservatively.

I hate the way AWE/PPP/NZO go full steam at Tui.

What a waste. Much more to be gained by taking it slowly.

I am pretty sure that JK knows what he is doing. He ain't put a foot wrong since I got on board. Even learnt a lot from Patten.

I am not an expert on production and your reasons may well be valid. These thoughts are just my opinion.
