I am currently deciding whether to get a Nikon D300 or Canon EOS 50D. I will probably go with the Nikon for its better build quality. It's a mistake to regard Megapixels as the main factor as the lenses may be the limitation on resolution.
I would never buy from an online store that fails to reveal a street address on its web site. Bad karma! Cameras Direct sound OK in that respect and the prices there seem as low as any eBay price but there may be others just as good.
