To be honest, I don't think Confucius ever said that. I think it is as American as fortune cookies. At the end of the day I believe geopolitical considerations will dictate the outcome. China right now is under duress with the threat of iron ore embargo by Canberra pollies while iron ore price stubbornly sits around record high of $220 fuelling domestic inflation (politically problematic) and steel industry margin being squeezed to loss making. Iron ore price is notably now $70 more than when the licenses were expropriated.
