You picked Norway as the Poster Child to support your premise that nations/countries can carry their less prosperous citizens along the Green Highway, not me.
My point was that Norway is the country you use as proof but the main reason that they have the ability to do this is based on their oil reserves/sales.
That they can actually afford to do this.
Have they put a moratorium on oil exports?
Surely that would cut out more Co2 than switching to EV’s?
As for NSW or any other state that exports coal?
They will still make money out of coal because we just like Norway won’t ban exporting our ff’s, they will just stop ourselves using it.
Would it be better to stop exporting it but using it ourselves be more beneficial to the environment and us?
It would last a lot longer that way.
