Zippo I have gone a step further. Out of all the states within the world's nations, I have chosen NSW for some examples of sensible policies relating to their EV strategy. That was your question wasn't it? - Examples of sensible policies that would encourage EV uptake for low income people? Why does it matter that NSW, NSW ?!? historically owes a good deal of its prosperity to the mining of coal? Kodak owed a good deal of its prosperity to wet film cameras? ICE car manufacturers are not allowed to offer solutions towards the EV revolution since they owe their prosperity to the good old internal combustion engine? I find it very difficult to follow your logic and juxtaposition of seemingly completely irrelevant pieces of information to highlight supposed contradictions when there are none. I look at every piece of information - or in this case policies that make EVs more affordable to low income earners - and assess it omits merit. Happy to leave it to you to shoot the messenger - Norway in this case - because it owes its prosperity to oil..

As to car manufacturers, who else would be an alternative to making EV’s? You say that they won’t make ICE vehicles shortly? I would hazard a guess that they will keep a good inventory of parts for their old style vehicles or that we will see an overrun of the old style vehicles past the stated date. I could be wrong?
