It has been long assumed that Odin had some element of stratigraphic control and thus the upside case, beyond the quoted numbers, always existed.
I am hopeful that this becomes a reality and that the reserve numbers are indicative of the upside case. Say 100PJ total ??
My recollection is that the majority of the large gas fields in the Cooper had some stratigraphic element as the sands were somewhat discontinuous and oftentimes not in direct pressure communication with adjacent wells. That required relatively higher drilling densities to adequately delineate and drain the gas reserves.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that these results will exceed expectations which will finally allow us to move forward and catch up with some of the value that has obviously been created here in these recent wells. VEN has reflected this but we have been held up for the moment.
