as for perpetual motion.. that implies that there isn’t any energy in petroleum to start with… I.e. the energy of hydrogen from the petroleum is extracted, or separated… then used through a fuel cell, to produce electricity, to create the energy to produce more hydrogen from the already energy rich fuel..
I have heard the expression of shooting your foot off, ..but machine gunning them?
1.energy of hydrogen from the petroleum is extracted, takes energy
2. fuel cells are not 100% efficient
3.the extracted hydrogen contains at best the same energy as required to extract (but it doesn't)
4. pumps, heat losses and electrical resistance....all losses.
yet..create the energy to produce more hydrogen? I don't think so.
