He's a bear, and also he has no idea what he is talking about. Probably doesn't even know how to read a set of accounts properly. I'm just quoting directly from the half yearly financial accounts. All public info.
Net assets basically mean total equity (TA - TL). So $16m net assets. Excluding intangibles of $70k, still close to $16m.
Also, stocks are traded based on liquidity/free float. Same reason why S&P takes into account free float capacity for ASX indices. Shares in escrow are not counted towards market cap since they are untradeable. Screen shot taken from IRESS.
