10-17m3 gas content but what about dewatering?, page-15

Seriously comline, how much of a risk is it though and how many of the seams would be affected to have an adverse effect on the projected reserve numbers? Care to highlight any case studies or projects where this has proven to be an issue or the extent of the problem?

You have seen the depths they are drilling at and the mutliple seams they are targetting. The higher gas contents certainly imply higher quality coals and primary thermogenic methane production!

The first pilot is targetted for the BW-4 well which is around 5km from the nearest outcrop to the west and immediately next to the mining lease with BHP. If they are going to have some water pumping issues we are going to find out about it soon.

Maybe you're the kind of guy who puts suncream on to go outside and check the mail; but I am not particularly phased by this possible issue given the size and quality of the assets and multiple seams they are targetting.

Thanks for the input, maybe you can post some opinions more frequently when BOW releases their drilling results?

    Cheers,

    SF
