Friedman' Policy (Neo-Liberal-Market morality) Let US manufacturing die on the vine because over time the market (global or local) will sort itself out without Government intervention and its just too bad if there are short term losers (deplorables) (Pro Globalisation)
Trump (Authoritarian Right) I'll fix the situation and redeem the "deplorables by blaming the "elites" and China & I'll put strong Government intervention strategies in place to penalise China ( import tariffs) and force the Friedman multinationals to repatriate their businesses and profits to America & give them a tax carrot for doing so. (Anti Globalisation)
Given that dichotomy , Where is the Aussie Right/Far Right with respect Australia in variables such as foreign ownership, multinationals transfer pricing, our "deplorables (those relegated to low paid jobs due to manufacturing moving overseas & automation) farming out of national defence etc.
Since the publication of the 2019 Australian Political Compass the LIB/LNP has been driven a flysheet to the Left by having to intervene in the economy due to bushfires & Covid with a defacto tax rise (credit card debt to be paid later including interest with higher taxes)
The Canadan 2019 Political Political Compass is interesting with the Bloc Quebecois Left of Centre rather than being Liberal !
